Masses are celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church and the intention is published in the bulletin. The offering for announced Masses is $10.
2025 Mass Intention Requests
In order to be fair to all who want to schedule Masses for their loved ones in 2025, we’ll once again implement the new system we tried last year, starting July/August. Thank you for understanding! Our new policy:
The deadline to return request forms is September 6th! Our new policy:
* One Mass each month will be designated as a “Monthly Requiem” Mass for those who died the previous month. Their names will be listed in the bulletin and read at the Mass.
* If you have important dates (birthday or anniversary) to honor, we will do our best to accommodate these first.
* Limited additional requests will be filled if possible with the first/nearest available dates to the preferred dates.
* Requests for weekend Masses will be limited to two. Additional requests will be scheduled on weekdays.
* In order to include more loved ones with fewer Masses, you may request a Mass “for the friends and family of YOUR NAME.” We encourage you to combine your requests whenever possible.
To fill out a Mass Intention Request form, please stop by the parish office on Woodbury Avenue, or email Kathy at [email protected]. Or, download the form here and return via the mail or the collection basket.
We have a variety of ways that one can offer a gift to the glory of God, for the beauty of the church, and for the sacred Liturgy, as a memorial for one who died or a celebration for the living. One can remember a birthday, wedding anniversary, anniversary of death or as a prayerful intercession for health or healing, or in thanksgiving.
A card can be provided to give to the person being remembered to let them know of your gift and remembrance. Please contact Mary Kay or Kathy in our parish office if you would like to schedule a particular remembrance for a particular date. Best to call early to book if you have specific dates you want to reserve. Opportunities include:
* Have the Sanctuary Lamp burn for your intention for a week (Offering: $15/week)
* Have the two votive candles burn at the altar of St. Joseph or our Lady, or the hanging votive lamps at the Divine Mercy of Black Madonna shrines for your intention for a week (Offering: $10/week)
* Sponsor the Hosts & Altar Wine used for Masses (Donation: $25 for the weekend)
* Arrange for two bouquets of flowers to adorn the high altar ($175 for the week)
These intentions are listed in the parish bulletin that week, so others can unite in prayer.
