What is SHARE?
The SHARE Fund is an emergency program that provides needed financial assistance for those who have exhausted or do not qualify for other avenues of support, providing a safety net to cover immediate needs. SHARE is funded through the Poor Box of Corpus Christi Parish, private donations, and benefactor businesses.
Who does SHARE help?
Residents of Portsmouth, Greenland, New Castle, and Newington, regardless of their religion, are eligible to apply for aid. In collaboration with local programs, SHARE provides a safety net to cover immediate needs.
Who runs SHARE?
A volunteer Board of Directors oversees the program, and a team of volunteer case workers meet with clients in coordination with community partners. Each volunteer brings their unique talents to their role to ensure each client is treated with respect and dignity.
How can I support SHARE?
SHARE is funded through the parish’s Poor Box and by regular donations from generous parishioners. If you'd like to make a donation, you can mail it to the address below or look for the Poor Box-Portsmouth Catholic SHARE fund through Online Giving .
