WALKING WITH PURPOSE
Martha & Mary

These dedicated women attend to the needs of the sanctuary and sacristy in greater detail than general maintenance. Volunteers gather weekly to dust and polish furniture, altars, and various liturgical items in the sanctuary and do dusting, maintain order, and help maintain sacred vessels and vesture.  Martha & Mary members also set up and maintain seasonal decorations, particularly for major liturgical celebrations, feasts, and seasons.  Major work centers around the preparation for Advent,
Christmas, Lent, and Easter.  Care for plants and attention to flower arrangements for the altars throughout the year also are included tasks.
